Separate, But Together

Haven't been able to post in a few days.
Aside from work or the garden, I've been with you non-stop.
....and I love every minute of it.
I wouldn't mind being with you all of the time.

Here we are, reading books, by some awkward fireplace in Panera,
and I'll catch you glancing at me from behind your book,
or you'll tap my foot with your own to get my attention,
and we'll share a soup spoon with our lips.
